YAMAHA XS650 TX650 CUSTOM MODIFIED FRONT END CHOPPER BOBBER XS

Description

This is a modified OEM front end from a 1979 Yamaha XS650 which
was originally built for my personal chopper project.
These forks were completely dismantled, thoroughly cleaned, carefully inspected and rebuilt with all new gaskets and seals (shipped without oil)
The fork tubes are straight and in very good condition with no pitting or damage of any kind
The fork caps have built in preload adjusters
The fork lowers have been machined, removing the fender and brake mounting tabs for a fender-less, rear brake only set up
The upper clamp has been trimmed and smoothed out, removing the original gauge mounting tabs for a cleaner look
The lowers, triple clamps, steering stem nut and the fork tube caps were powder coated gloss black
The fork brace is a black anodized billet aluminum piece from Motolanna Motorcycles. The fork brace not only helps with making the front end more stabile, it will also act as a small fender and works quite well at redirecting water instead of rooster-tailing it right into your face
This is a one of a kind front end with a lot of time invested into it. It is used so it will not be perfect, but it is a very nice looking and functioning piece.
